feb 22camp!!
left apartment at 11.55... reach meeting point at 12.00.. (near eh? hehe) there were 3 busses going to my camp (forest edge camp).. the 2nd bus was a double decker.. unfortunately, it was full (duh...) so i went for the 3rd bus.. sat with raymond (new friend from cempaka).. bus left at EXACTLY 12.30pm and it was a 2 and a half hour ride away from melbourne.. arrived at forest edge camp at 3pm.. had afternoon tea then a talk bout the campsite, and i was off for the 1st activity.. oh yea, we had been split to groups before this so we went according to groups, there was group A to F.. i was in group B (suits me huh?).. so, 1st activity was........... indoor rock climbing!! there was 2 walls, basically, the easier and the harder one... to not waste time, all the gals went for the easier 1 while all the guys went for the harder 1... most gals breezed through their wall... the guys suffered terribly....... =/ only two manage to climb to the top.. most got stuck at the 3rd hold... (including me =S)
then we got out bed linens and towels and went to the cabins (something like dorm where there are 4 double decker beds..) while the gals got the lodges (even the name is high class) the difference? the gals have bathrooms inside their lodges while all 60+ guys hafta share 6 bathrooms.. besides that, the cabins are 5-10 minutes walk away from the main building while the lodges are like... 1 minute away? lolx.. so... we had to carry our heavy bags and bed linens to our cabins.. there were two linens, two towels and two blankets (wierd huh? quite heavy too) next was dinner.. there was rice and pasta.. there was nothing to go with the rice though.. =/
after dinner was the fun part.. bush dancing!! there were a few dances and they were all fun!! cat explain much about them.. you hafta experience them to know.. hehe.. then it was supper and star gazing.. nothing much.. finally, it was time to sleep.. end of day..
feb 23
after breakfast was 2nd activity archery!! luckily it wasnt like the one in vi where even the gals' bow are hard to shoot.. this one is much easier.. they have the bullseye stuff on a large roll of hay and a balloon at the bullseye.. i almost hit the balloons twice although i hit the bullseye mark!! (bad luck).. then there was morning tea followed up with the 3rd activity.. down by the river and volleyball.. nothing much happened during this time, quite boring actually, played a lil volleyball... but spent most of the time "shoo"-ing flies (there were lotsa flies there)..
then it was lunch.. something REALLY funny happened here.. something i thought only happen in shows.. during this camp, i also met two guys, one an extrovert and another an introvert.. the extrovert is from hong kong while the introvert is from malaysia.. the introvert normally stick with the guy from hk during lunch so we all sat at a table.. he normally wont talk to us much.. its like we ask one question and he answer us.. the shy type.. or so we thought....during the bush dancing thing onwards, we found out he keeps being with gals... and keep getting contacts!! he seldom speaks to us but keeps talkin non stop with gals.. =/ then we also found out he was always with a cempaka gal (me and my cempaka friends know her).. so.. during breakfast this morning, we asked him why is he always so active with gals but seldom talk to us.. he just replied that the cempaka gal is his cousin's friend.. (we asked in general but he answered just for one person.. but we let him off anyway..) so.. back to the lunch.. while we were eating, the cempaka gal came to our table and said hi.. then asked where is raymond.. so we just told her he was taking food.. but when she came to the table, the introvert was just about to eat a potato wedge.. it was on his fork and he was just about to put it in his mouth.. but when she arrived, he just paused in motion with his mouth open and his eyes wide.. (i was right opposite him so i saw).. and the potato fell on the plate with a loud "pak" sound.. i just cant stand and laughed a lil XD then i controlled myself.. lolx.. even the hk guy who sat behind me told me later that night that he was a lil shocked to hear the "pak" sound and c his reaction.. haha.. so.. thats wat happened during lunch..
next was the 4th activity.. initiative games... we hafta take a tyre out of a high pole without anyone or the tyre touching the pole, and transfer it to another higher pole; create a square from a rope which began as a round while closing our eyes; and play a game where we hafta transfer chickens and hay and dog across a "river" with rules where the dog cannot be with the chicken alone, chicken cannot be with the hay alone, etc etc (you know the procedure).. finished this activity fast and played some mini golf.. wierd type though.. lotsa challenges.. then it was free time.. did nothing.. ok.. not really nothing.. played a lil basketball.. but juz a lil.. lol..
next was the 5th activity.. my favourite.. high ropes!!! we hafta climb up some pole and walk a trail of ropes with some other ropes supporting us.. ohya.. its about 2 stories high.. =P it was damn fun, some funny things happened too.. but im lazy to type it out.. you'll hafta be there to understand.. haha.. after that was preparation for mini-olympics.. we were split to different grops again from Q to Z and told to create a country name, cheer, and select people in our group for the events.. as we dont hav any idea, we just name our country PUMP (i was using that bottle and it began with P, my group alphabet and although we do not have to name our country according to the alphabets, we just chose it to not give us more headache..) and the events were... 100 metre dash, high jump, 400 metre medley relay, 4x400 relay, shot put and a group event where everyone must join.. so i joined 4x400 (only one person in my group was athletic so.. no choice and everyone hafta pick at least one event) then dinner and finally mini olympics!!
we had a fast march past in front of a special "delegate" which was actually one of the teacher wearing some uniform (everyone got conned when they say a delegate from the college was coming).. so.. 1st event, 100 metres sprint!! ohya, the mini-olympics happened in a gymnasium.. so.. the 100 metres sprint... was actually a 50 metres sprint where you hafta put each feet in front of the other feet and reach the finishing line 1st.. =/ (kena con again) and the winner is from... my team!! woohoo! its yusuke!!! (yes amber, its YUSUKE!! but not from flame.. hehe.. this is a watanabe yusuke) the prize? a lollypop.. =P high jump was even worse though, as every team picked their tallest or highest jumper, the event turned out to be... LIMBO!!! totally opposite! lolx.. 400 metre medley was an event of mix movements across 50 metres.. 4x400 is an event where we hafta put on some wierd clothes and sprint 50 metres across the gymnasium and pass to another partner and it went on for every participant in the team.. the shirt was like... WIERD!! the sleeves are hard to find, the button is on the left side, so its just.. wierd again.. lol.. my team lost.. =( shot put was an event where the participats hafta throw... a balloon the furthest.. =/ as for the group event, we place toothpicks in our mouths and transfer a polo sweet from every partner till the last one.. my team finished 4th in it.. >< (so close) so basically, this "mini-olympics" was a con event.. lolx.. then there was supper and time to sleep..
feb 24
after breakfast, we packed our cabins, had morning tea and went for our last activity.. flying fox! hehe.. its across around 300 metre of ground.. kinda fun.. and fast too... hehe.. then it was lunch and time to go back.. didnt manage to get on the double decker bus (again) but the bus i sat on have dvd player.. so we watched cats and dogs.. =P arrived back at melbourne at 4pm.. and at night, i found yui's newest album's torrent!! cant dowload it so asked benny's help.. thanks benny!!! (im just typing this just to make some of you jealous.. kekeke)

did laundry (nothing happen.. hehe), some cleaning, and cooked all my meals today.. but the special thing was, there was rain today!! 1st time since i came to melbourne.. as it got strong and loud, i went out and see.. i thought it was loud maybe cause the droplets were big but then i found out, it was ice!! hailstorm!! woohoo!! (wierd huh? woohoo-ing cause of hailstorm.. it was supposed to be bad right? but.. since 1st time i saw this type of thing so... woohoo!!) but it only lasted a while and the ice was quite small.. not even 5 cents in diametre.. hmm.. overall, a bad day for laundry.. lolx
well, if you've read till this part of the entry, congrats! you are a patient reader!! i know this entry was kinda long but.. i've already tried to shorten it... hehe.. ohya.. kinda regretted not bringing my cam and hp to the camp.. at least can tke some pictures and listen to some songs.. but they say no line (in th end found out actually have) so there wont be pictures for the camp..
