wedding!

first wedding in melbourne!
though i'm not really close to the bride and groom but since we got informally invited,
we just went to have a look!
what more, it's a garden weddng!

time: 10am
place: carlton gardens..
bride and groom: wency and shawn (we only sort of knew wency from cafe crema :P)

in front of i-forgot-what's-the-name-of-this-building
in any case, the place and the environment of the place was perfect for the wedding!

look at the trees acting like an archway to the building :)
the weather that day was kind of perfect as well..
though a lil sunny and warm at first,
then the clouds came and things became better for everyone..

then, came the page boy and flower girl :)

the boy was kinda rough though..
he tried to put his hand into the basket and pulled too hard
and in the end, many petals flew out :P

then came the bride and her dad..

they walked all the way from the back there
pity the bride :S

then, there was the wedding procession
beginning with some christian songs,
talk by the pastor,
talk by both the bride and groom (very sweet, both of them cried.. even aik chung cried! :) )
marriage vows,
exchange of rings,
signing of marriage registry,
then declaration of marriage..

and the formal procession ended with...

very cool!
similar to the tunnel of love game in every rc gatherings :P

then, people flocked to queue an invisible line to take pics with the bride and groom..
so while waiting...

we camwhored a lil :P

and even pulled aik chung and nicole in!

and finally it was our turn to take pics with the bride and groom

in fact, we got TWO pics with them!
this one is with other crema people :)

then, they had lunch in the gardens while we went home..
so, nice morning/noon for the day :)

i shall spoil this nice post by saying that there are exams and assignments again..
