im back! hehe.. feel like just making a short post and yeah, i wont be blogging bout the gold coast trip or the arrows talent night.. maybe another day, maybe never.. whatever..
so.. today's quite fine.. but.. it was a very very frustrating 2 hours that just passed..
came home slightly later as usual with ray on a fine thursday evening... then, went back up to my room.. in the lift, i remembered that i had to ask the reception about the rates for arrow 3 person room as one of my parents' friend is coming with his wife and son this saturday (and my mum told me to make booking last night......).. so i went back down and ask the rate for relative (though they were not my relatives but.. try to get cheaper la.. hehe).. and i was told that there's only cheaper rates for parents and if its relatives, i'll have to ask someone in my apartment block.. before that, i collected my mail + 778's and guess what... greg got selected for starshot too!!! this is what i call KARMA!!! anyway, i called my mum after that imforming her that there's no rates for relatives.. then i asked if they could just get the normal rooms or go other hotel coz since its not cheaper, might as well stay at better hotel (fyi, arrow hotel is QUITE small, i've stayed there for my first few nights in melbourne). but she insisted that i go ask the person.. and so.. i went to the reception and asked where's that person's room coz i didnt know.. the receptionist replied that the person has *stopped here for 2 hours as chen came in and wanted to sneak peek but i stopped her and as a result, landed on my ass when i tried to sit on the chair.. sent her home and ate dinner, collected my laundry, and here i am* went home as her working hours was 9-5.. damn.. then i went to call my mum to tell her and she asked me to just get the normal room.. and so i went to the reception for the i-dunno-how-many-times-already to ask the normal rates for rooms (felt quite bad also coz i "fan-ned" the receptionist for many times already).. so, at the reception, i saw the guy receptionist that conned my last time.. then i asked him for the normal rate.. convo below:
me: hi, can i get the normal rate for a queen and single size bedroom? 2 bedrooms
guy: are you a tennant here?
me: yeah
*finds list and shows me price for parents' accomodation which is cheaper*
guy: its 148
me: okay (thinking that since he gave this price, i'll be quiet that its not my parents who are staying)
guy: are your parents staying here? (DAMN!)
me: err.. no.. its my uncle (well, i DO call him uncle :P)
guy: you better say its your parents..
me: err.. okay.. yeah, its my parents..
lol.. and so i got the cheaper rate coz he encouraged me.. hehe.. then went to call my mum again.. then went back to reception to confirm and pay.. before that, i went to put my laundry into the washing machines.. so when i was waiting for the lift, i remembered bout it and wanted to go back to my room then come down again to send the clothes to dryer.. at my room, i realised how stupid i was.. i could just send the clothes to dryer without coming up.. damn.. then went down again and put the clothes in dryer.. then realised that i dont have coins.. and so up and down again.. the put money into the machine.. realised that i put to the wrong machine again.. i put for top machine when my clothes was below!!!!!! finally i did that mistake again.. then went up and was finally done.. all in 2 hours.. the countless trips up and down the lift and to the reception.. damn frustrating!!! not to mention, the weather is freaking hot!! (probably not as hot as kl but still hot and dry!!) on the aircon twice already.. tomorrow shouldnt be that hot anymore.. hopefully..
